A+ R A-

In China, there is proof that acrobatics has been part of the culture since before the Western Han Dynasty, over 2500 years ago. Acrobatics was part of village harvest festivals during the Tang Dynasty.  Acrobatics continues to be an important part of modern Chinese variety art and fitness.

Pa-Kua Chinese Acrobatics is a class that develops your core strength, balance, and many stabilizing muscles important to the practice of handstands, cartwheels, and other acrobatic basics. Utilizing specific acrobatic postures improves a student’s flexibility. A keen awareness and connection transpires between your mind and body throughout the acrobatic training exercises.

Pa-Kua Chinese Acrobatics benefits you by obtaining a physical defragmentation through exercise of body and mind. It has a therapeutic benefit working through your physical and mental control. It is fun for friends to work together in equilibrium of two or more people supporting each other in acrobatic postures.

Everything is taught according to the student’s abilities. You will gain all necessary strength and skills before you progress to the next level of training.  You will continue your training until you feel prepared, working with the Master or Instructor, to overcome your fears or doubts. You will progressively learn how to: handstand, cartwheel, one-handed cartwheel, one-handed handstand, butterfly, bridge, kip up, front walkover, back walkover, front handspring, back handspring, front flip, back flip, and much more!
