Pa-Kua 35 Year Anniversary

Today, August 8, 2011 is the 35th Anniversary of the foundation of the Pa Kua School by our Master Rogelio Magliacano.  From this brave vision, with only one school located in the city of Buenos Aires, we built an International Organization formed by hundreds of orientators and thousands of students in hundreds of schools located in 13 countries.

The gigantic growth of the school is the result and at the same time the reflection of the well being reached by those who are a part of Pa-Kua.  Today we are proud of being the International League of Pa Kua for everything we have accomplished but mostly for all we have ahead!

Un Abrazo,
Mtro Nicolás Moyano

About Pa-Kua Huntington Beach

Construction of Pa-Kua Huntington Beach began on May 1st of 2003. The Studio held its Grand Opening on April 1st, 2003 that was filled with students, friends and of course family! From the very beginning Master Elizabeth Filleti and Master Jason Landau had a goal of working with the community to help both young and old reach their personal goals. They founded the Pa-Kua Huntington Beach Studio with those goals as well as the desire to provide a positive family environment for everyone to be able to learn Pa-Kua. Pa-Kua Huntington Beach is now one of the highest and most reviewed studio in Orange County, California.

In the summer of 2008 Pa-Kua Huntington Beach moved to a new location at 4952 Warner Ave. Suite #101 in Huntington Beach, California directly across the street from the first studio. The new location offered two training mats, café, changing area and large office. This has kept our class sizes nice at 2 to 10 students per class since we can offer 2 different classes each hour.

Pa-Kua Huntington Beach participates in many community events each year such as: HB July 4th Parade, L.A. Chinese New Year Parade, Senior Saturday at H.B. Pier, Pa-Kua National Gathering and many more! We also have supported many charities/events such as: American Heart Association, MS Walk, Soles 4 Souls, Teens for Jeans, Rodgers Senior Center as well as many, many more.

Pa-Kua Huntington Beach is a committed member of the Pa-Kua International League. The International League of Pa-Kua was founded by Master Giordano (More info in Pa-Kua History). We have the honor of learning from Itinerant Pa-Kua Masters that visit from all over the world to come teach Pa-Kua and allow for the highest ranking Black Belts in that area to continue taking classes and courses, as well as have internationally certified belt evaluations for the students. Currently we have the honor to have Master Nicolas Moyano as our Itinerant Master who is the Entitled Superior Master of Pa-Kua (Pa-Kua’s highest rank in the world).

Master Elizabeth Filleti-Landau is currently the highest ranking female Black Belt in Pa-Kua (7th highest overall), in the World! She was a direct student of Master Giordano (The founder of Pa-Kua International) and has been practicing Pa-Kua since 1987 and has owned 3 different Pa-Kua studios in 2 different countries. Pa-Kua History

The Pa-Kua Knowledge, passed down to us along the centuries, throughout millenniums, has transcended time. The Pa-Kua Symbol has shown to be the source of numerous philosophical, humanitarian, medical and nutritional aspect of ancient Chinese knowledge. Pa-Kua has also proven to be the source of infinite wisdom. Subject such as the I-Ching, Ch'ien Chi Kua, Energy Ways, provide the Pa-Kua student with unequaled tools to deal with what surrounds him. Based on the concept of Energy, these various studies of the ancient Chinese ways cover our daily concerns, our relationships, and our health. They are centered around a non-defined monotheistic belief of the world’s existence and direct us toward the fulfillment and betterment of our essence. Be it healing ourselves as well as our family, or be it understanding the patterns of happening in the Universe, the study of Pa-Kua will help one reach a clearer understanding of himself and his surroundings.

The study of the Pa-Kua Symbol and of the knowledge that has, over time and history, derived from it, is one of incredible depth, mysticism and intellectual stimulation. It is said that    Confucius wished to have 50 years added to his life in order to continue his study the Pa-Kua symbol and the I-Ching. The family formation of the Pa-Kua symbol, arranged by Master I-Chang is   the   basis of Pa-Kua International School founded by Master R. Magliacano Giordano some 30 years ago. Historically, Pa-Kua had always been taught in a very traditional form, being passed from generation to generation within the family nucleus.

TheMasterAfter obtaining permission from his Master, the venerable I-Chang Ming, Master Giordano formed the Pa-Kua International School, thus making this vast array of knowledge available to the public at large. Master Giordano has dedicated his life to making the Pa-Kua International School to grow, which has earned him recognition from President Bill Clinton. To date, the School counts close to ten thousand students and offers a variety of studies derived from the ancient PA-Kua Symbol. Studies include subjects such as Pa-Kua Martial arts, Chinese Yoga, Ancient Weapons, Reflexology, Ch'ien Chi Kua, and many more. The Pa-Kua International School has students in countries such Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Israel, United States, etc.
